In 2012, Superstorm Sandy devastated Long Island causing an estimated 1.1 billion dollars in infrastructural damage. The City of Long Beach, on the South Shore, suffered major damage in the storm, but is on the precipice of a major redevelopment. We discuss with Jack Schnirman, City Manager of the City of Long Beach, and John Cameron, Founder and Managing Partner of Cameron Engineering.
