(chuckling): And, uh, we jumped out of the car and the guy told us it was five dollars.
So... yeah, we took it home.
APPRAISER: So I would say this is a sheep designed by Hanns-Peter Krafft.
And he has an apt last name since this is a wonderful piece of craftwork.
GUEST: Oh wow.
APPRAISER: It was made in Germany, and it is done with this wonderful, uh, wool.
Boiled wool.
And, uh, all of the legs are original in their ash wood, with his ears in leather and those glass eyes.
He's so alert.
It's a spirited, wonderful, fun object.
Well, you can see these in a retail setting in the $4,000 range.
GUEST: Oh wow.
APPRAISER: Yeah.
You might just try to get its tail attached so you don't lose his tail.
That's important.
GUEST: Okay.
APPRAISER: His muzzle is a little dirty, and that's good.
So lovely.
Wonderful $5 yard sale find.
GUEST: Absolutely.
