The original Wingfoot design of the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company logo is credited to F.A. "Frank" Seiberling, the company's founder. DH has no association with Goodyear other than we were given permission to film atop its former headquarters in Akron, Ohio. The Wingfoot is inspired by the Roman Messenger of the Gods, Mercury. Mercury embodies, among other actions, travel and communication.
