The Danforth Plant Science Center new wing has space for 100 more scientists and technology that is changing how plant science is done. The field of epigenetics is challenging accepted ideas about genetics. The next generation of screens might be much thinner and flexible: the tunable color surface. If humans are so smart, why don’t we handle traffic flow as well as ants?
